1. We held a minutes silence for Sue Elston (Challengers,),Debbie Batt(Clickies), and Her Majesty The Queen
2. The outstanding Trophies were presented to The Vixens, Gina Moorcraft and Tayna Mills.
3. If a game has been cancelled due to lack of players the game is to be rearranged by the Home team, If they can’t not agree on a suitable date to play. The Committee will pick a date and alley that the game has to be played. whether or not a full team can be present. If necessary both teams can play with the same number of players plus 2 spares.
4. If you have to cancel a game please make sure that the landlord has been told and he writes it in his diary, as if he forgets and has to arrange staff to cover the extra people.
5. Please can you make sure that if posting score cards that the correct amount of postage is put on them. Anne has had to pay £2.50 to pick up an unstamped card.
6. There are 2 new men’s teams 1playing at the Liberals on a Friday and 1 playing at the Football Club on a Thursday, so if you have to rearrange a game check if the men are not playing. So please make sure if you have to arrange a postponed game that the alley is free.
7. We have given out the registration for the Pairs Comp, they must be returned with the registration fee of £1.00 per player by the November meeting. We are hoping to hold the first round during the week commencing 9th January 2023.
8. We reminded you that the Senior Citizens Competition will be held the next day 4th October
9. Linda announced that we are going to resume the Charity Christmas Raffle so all teams need to bring £5.00 by the November meeting so the committee can buy the raffle prizes. Each team then needs to sell raffle tickets to their team. And bring the tickets and money to the meeting in December.
